PRODUCTION of all the lampworked glass and the jewelry design is done at Corrie Glass Studio.  Using a torch with a flame reaching more than 2000º and glass rods made in Italy, Germany and the Czech Republic, each bead is actually sculpted by Wayne to Judy's design.  Specialized hand tools come into play as well as the use of everyday items like a serrated butter knife.  Importantly, the kiln is used to properly anneal every day’s production guaranteeing quality and strength. A broad range of MATERIALS are used with the lampworked glass to create the jewelry. They range from sterling silver, pewter, hand painted silk, crystals, lava, wood and other beads that work well with the designs.  Because allergies are a problem for many people, we use earwires made of sterling silver in the U.S.A. and are .032” for maximum comfort, and are also available in posts. Please specify your choice. Also many designs are adaptable to lever-backed ear wires or ear clips per special requests.
